Ok, let's consider this maintenance done. Some cached media attachments are still missing, and it will take a while for them to be re-downloaded and re-cached. Everything else appears to work correctly.

Still working out missing/cached media attachments. These are for avatars/headers and the media posted by other people. The cleanup and re-caching this stuff takes a while.

Other than that, some quirks around the Streaming API remain, but they shouldn't be a concern.

Performing some extra maintenance tasks (removing orphaned cached media, generating feeds, etc).

The site is mostly usable at this point, although there's still a bunch of missing avatars/media. Working on this!

DB dump was successful. Now making backup copies of the DB (will remove them after the migration).

Stopping current server and making a snapshot of it: I'll use this snapshot to recover the pre-maintenance state if things go wrong.
